She was the wife of the late Wallace W. McIlhenney Jr., who died March 28, 2012. Born in Phoenixville, Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Risher and Margaret Elizabeth (Kunsch) Bradford.
She was a registered nurse during her life working at nursing homes and various doctors' offices retiring in 1998. She attended the Lutheran Church during her life. She was a 1955 graduate of Phoenixville High School.
She enjoyed cooking (hot & spicy), sailing with her late husband, listening to music and spending time with her grandson, Nicholas.
She is survived by her son, Wallace W. McIlhenney III of Philadelphia; her daughter, Katharine E., wife of Christopher J. Kosenske of Mohnton; and her grandson, Nicholas W. Kosenske.
Celebration of life service from St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 Front Street, Mohnton on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 12 noon. Pastor Rachel Dietz will officiate. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, will be private.
