Born September 7, 1939, in Maxatawny, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Priscilla (Keller) Oswald. Her husband, Howard S. Hoster, passed away in 1984.
Marguerite was known to many as "Mom Mom" and "Tootie."
She attended school in Leesport and Maxatawny.
Marguerite had been a cook for the Ruscombmanor Fire Company, was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pricetown, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ruscombmanor Fire Company.
She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, gardening and especially babysitting for the many children she cared for.
Marguerite is survived by three children: David H. Hoster, Temple; Crystal A. Hoster, Mohrsville; and Nancy F. (Hoster) Reider, wife of Todd J. Reider, Alsace Manor.
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her sister, Delores (Oswald) Schadler, Reading; her brother, Larry Oswald, husband of Anna Oswald, Hamburg; her brother, Gene Oswald, Virginia; and her cousin, Linda L. (Bucks) Delong, Oley.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Oswald.
Funeral Services for Marguerite will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015, at 10:30 at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA, with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiating. Interment will follow in Pricetown Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to flowers, the family would be honored by donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.

U were like a mom to me. I enjoyed listening to the storys from yrs of raising ur kids and most of all our sunday breskfast. May God loving arms comfort those u left behind. I love u mom.
