Marvin Riegel Obituary
Marvin C. Riegel, 91, Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret L.""Peg" Riegel who died March 30, 2011. Born on Gaul Road in Lower Heidelberg Twp., he was a son of the late Charles A. and Maggie (Schaeffer) Riegel.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Birdsboro. He was a 1943 graduate of Wilson High School, West Lawn.
He retired from Agway, previously known as Reading Bone Fertilizer, and having previously been a dairy farmer on the family farm in Lower Heidelberg Twp.
He is survived by five sons: Mark Riegel, husband of
Cynthia; Bruce Riegel, husband of Christine; David Riegel, husband of Marla; Matthew Riegel, husband of Tamara; Seth Riegel, husband of Wenonah; a brother, Ralph Riegel; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Amelia Speicher.
SERVICES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.
Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave.,
Wernersville, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 5 Brooks Manor, Birdsboro, 19508.

Deepest sympathies to all the Riegels as you mourn the loss of your beloved Dad, Grandad, and Great Grandad. What a marvelous legacy he and Peg left through all of you. We know how he missed and longed to be with his beloved Peg one day again and trust they are now together. Rest in peace, Marvin.
