Ann M. (Speicher) Riegel, of South Heidelberg Township, 83, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Stouchsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Ruth M. (Kissling) Speicher. She was the wife of the late John G. Riegel, who passed away Jan. 30, 2001. She was companion of Raymond W. Weinhold Jr. until his passing on April 15, 2020.

Ann was a member of North Heidelberg UCC.

She was a 1960 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and a graduate of Reading Business Institute. She worked for Defense Contract Administrative Services Region of Philadelphia (stationed locally) from 1962-1970. She owned and operated Boulder Lake Store, Galen Hall Rd., Wernersville from 1971-1981. Worked for John G. Riegel Coal Co. from 1981-2001. Also South Heidelberg School Census Enumerator 1985 thru 2001. Worked for Sheetz, Inc., Sinking Spring, Oct. 2001 until retirement in Nov. 2006.

Ann loved to play the organ and was a member of Keys to Life at Keyboard World at the Fairgrounds Square Mall. Ann was a member of the Robesonia Fire Co. since 1964. She loved working in the flower beds and gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, April A. (Riegel) Bohn; a son, John N. Riegel, husband of Cathy Brown-Riegel; a stepson, Gregory Riegel, husband of Jennifer (Babiak); two grandchildren, Kyrsten Bohn and Caroline Riegel; and two step grandchildren, Gavin, and Abbey Riegel.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, Feb. 11th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Heidelberg Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com.
