Boy am I ever going to miss you Matt! Circle Avenue will never be the same! I always appreciated your kindness, your visits, and stop by's whenever I was outside mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, etc. Anything to make me take a break! Always pleasant and happy go lucky and full of fun! I appreciated you more than you will ever know, my heart hurts over the loss of you in my world! I wish I would have known or could have done something to make stubborn you go to the doctor, but you never complained!
You had too much life left to leave us this soon! My heart breaks for your family, your great kids who you adored, I know they will succeed in life based on your love, support and teachings!
My Deepest Stmpathy goes out to all of your family!

Rest in Peace Matty.
We spent more than a decade with each other, Tues & Thurs at Angelica, Sunday Doubleheaders at Caboose, traveling on weekends and playing games across PA and in 6-7 other states.
I left Reading 10 years ago but when you passed many people let me know. You may have 2 brothers in your family but you made a couple dozen other brothers playing softball.
I know this week there will be those other brothers honoring you and telling the same funny stories we told a million times. I only wish I could be there.
Brothers Doug & Keith and Matty's children please know we all lost a good man along with you. You have my family's deepest sympathy.

Even though my family moved away from Circle Ave over 40 years ago, some of my fondest memories were had in the Mayers household. I have always considered Matt to be a great friend, one of few from my childhood. This loss just breaks my heart. My prayers, love and support go out to family and friends.

Matty there aren't words to describe the sadness we feel .... you have always been a great friend !!! I laugh every time I think of all the conversations we had.... you asking me if I was ready to trade Jim in yet on a newer model. Your contagious laugh... your unwavering friendship.... the undeniable love for your kids and all of your friends!
Our lives were much better because you were in it!
We will forever carry a piece of you with us ..... the sun is a little less bright now
Matty we will love and miss you forever
Rest in paradise our dear friend !!! Gone but certainly never forgotten !!!
