"Miss Melba" was beloved by all the Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Alvernia University who were blessed to have had the opportunity to meet her or work with her in their classes. She and Nancy would selflessly come in often throughout the year to 'teach' the students about the realities of life post stroke. Melba liked to think that the students were helping her to regain her mobility and independence, but the students all know how much she helped them to grow and to learn - and she made their experience so fun as well. She will be greatly missed! We send Nancy and the family peace in this difficult time.
