He was the husband of Anna M. (Fusaro) Capozzi.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Natalie Capozzi.
He worked as a supervisor for Reading Clothing, then as an assistant manager for Ship ’N Shore in Virginia. He retired in 1998 after 20 years as a supervisor at East Penn Manufacturing.
Capozzi was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was a loving father to Michael T., husband of Joanne L. Capozzi, Wernersville; and Kenneth J., husband of Lisa Ann Capozzi, Valencia, Calif.
He was a beloved grandfather to Steven M., husband of Amy M. Capozzi; and Andrew M., husband of Monika S. Capozzi; and a beloved great-grandfather to Gina M., Luke T. and Julio A. Capozzi.
Services will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. in Bean Funeral Homes Inc., 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Kerrick and Mitti roads, Shillington, with the Rev. Richard H. Clement officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 8 to 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
Floral tributes would be appreciated or contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD 20852, in memory of Mr. Michael Capozzi Sr.
