Michael Pinder Obituary
Michael W. Pinder, 20, died April 28, 2010, in his Spring Township residence, after a long battle with Batten's disease. Born in Reading, he was a son of Michael L. and Victoria T. (Pugh) Pinder, with whom he resided.
He was a 2008 graduate of Wilson High School.
Michael was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
He loved horses and participated in LAZY H Therapeutic Horseback Riding.
Michael is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and his partner, June Forry.
He was predeceased by his two sisters, Mindy A. Pinder on Sept. 4, 2000, and Marcy E. Pinder on April 4, 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, 420 Holland St., Shillington, PA 19607. Friends called Friday in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's name may be made to Batten Disease Support and Research Association, 166 Humphries Drive, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. In memo on check please specify "for research only."

I am so sorry to hear about Michael. I worked with you many years ago in the shoe department at KMart when we were both young mothers. I have thought of you often over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Michael.

Vicki, sorry to hear of Michael's passing. May God be with you and your husband at this most heartwrenching time. Michael is no longer in pain and he is with his sisters in heaven.
