He was born in Reading on June 18, 1958, a son of the late Umberto and Michelina (Cimpini) Tucci.
Michael was a 1976 Reading High School graduate. He attended Reading Area Community College, was employed by Narrow Fabrics in the shipping department and then later as a certified home health care aid.
Michael loved the Reading Royals, Reading High basketball, and was an avid Yankees fan, and an all-around sports lover.
He spent alot of time in the Bingo halls and was a lodge member of Victor Emmanuel.
He is survived by his 5 sisters: Fernanda Venezia, widow of John J. of Reading; Teresa and her husband, Mark Hoffman of Fleetwood; Mary Ann and her husband, Craig A. Ciarlone of Reading; Amy and her husband, Joseph Borelli of Brecknock Township; and Polly and her husband, Steve Corvaia of Alsace Township. There are 11 nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Michael was also predeceased by his brother, John Anthony Tucci.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 9, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary RCC, 237 Franklin St., Reading.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospital, 2500 Bernville Rd., Reading, PA 19605.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing, we went to Reading High together and had many of good times and laugh's. He was a year ahead of me, but always walked to classes together. I lost touch with him when I went into the Marine Corps, my Prayers go out to his entire family. May God's peace surround you at this of grief.
