Monica Carlisle Obituary

Monica A. Carlisle, 57, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Reading, PA. She had lived on the east and the west coast, and loved the ocean. Creating stained glass windows and textiles, among other work, she was always spirited about what she did. Her career was in real estate as an agent for Coldwell Banker, and then Remax for many years. She was passionate about putting her clients' needs first. She enjoyed volunteering in her spare time, especially for Meals on Wheels. She was happy to participate and contribute to the March of Dimes. She liked spending time outdoors; gardening, boating, fishing, and clamming. She took pride in herself with fitness and in her home with cooking, baking, sewing, and do-it-yourself renovations. Monica is survived by her three children: Jacqueline Valeriano, Lauren Devlin, and Sean Devlin, two grandchildren; Dominic and Amani Valeriano, her sister Stacy Carlisle, mother Claire Carlisle, and step-father Ken Bird. She was predeceased by her younger brother, James "Bubba" Carlisle. Contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, marchofdimes.org or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box #91891, Washington, D.C. 20090 â€" 1891. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc, West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
