She was the wife of
Richard H. Schearer.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel (Epler) Stafford.
She was a graduate of Reading High School and Millersville University.
Nancy was employed as a teacher for Early Childhood Center, Oakbrook Housing Homes. She later worked as a medical clerk for the Reading Hospital for 26 years.
She was an avid dancer and found passion in music and dancing. She found peace in her husband, Rich-ard, and joy spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Larry W. Zerbe, West Lawn, and Michelle A. Lupacchini, Lincoln Park; her brother, Paul Stafford, Madisonville, TN; and three grandchildren: Michael Lu-pacchini Jr., Aleigha Zerbe and Abigayle Zerbe.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
