Nancy L. Torres

Nancy L. (Erb) Younker Torres Nancy L. (Erb) Younker Torres, 82, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Ephrata Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bruce T. Younker on July 19, 1994, and her second husband, Jose L. Torres on January 7, 2022. Nancy, daughter of the late Ephraim A. and Dorothy (Noll) Erb, was born in Lebanon. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne M., wife of Michael Miller, and Jennifer R., wife of Christopher Mirth; two brothers, Ephraim Erb Jr., husband of Carol, and Robert C. Erb, husband of Jean; four sisters, Elizabeth “Betty”, wife of the late Larry Dodson, Sandra F. Erb, Karen, wife of Thomas Eckert, and Barbara, wife of Edward Getz; two grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Miller, husband of Rebecca, and Abigail A. Mirth; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was a 1957 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School. Nancy was a Medical Secretary for 29 years for Dr. John A. Bamberger and Judicial Coordinator for 16 years at the Berks County Court House. Nancy was a current member of Myerstown Church of the Brethren, and a former member of Little Swatara Church of the Brethren. She loved spending time with her family and friends, singing in the choir, humming hymns, doing word searches, going to the beach, and getting together for sibling dinners and family reunions. Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 20, at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Rd., Bethel. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow in Little Swatara Church Cemetery. A light luncheon will follow.
