My dear uncle, you spent so much vacation with us ... so many Christmas holidays, so many summers in simplicity and good humor ... You liked the simple and authentic things of life and especially your dear country and your native island, Zakynthos with its delicious food and its beautiful landscapes. We will miss you! Know that your family is united and think very strongly about you during this final journey. Rest in peace and happy after an accomplished life! Your niece Vassiliki-Piyi (Vicky) Christopoulou

I grew up in Lincoln Park and remember hearing his ice cream truck in the summer. My grandfather, Jack Super, was also a friend of Mr. Simotas when he would serve the Diary Bar. Mr. Simotas and his wife were such wonderful people.
