Lang Van Huynh, 95, passed away March 2, 2026 in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center.

Born in Vietnam, he was the beloved husband of Muoi Vuong, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Lang was owner and head chef at Lang Restaurant, Reading since 1986. Lang was very passionate about cooking and found true joy and comfort every time someone would eat the meals he prepared. He enjoyed helping others and giving to charity, traveling to his homeland, and most importantly he loved spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his spouse, he is survived by his 5 children: Tuan Huynh, husband of Dung Tran, Hong Huynh, Oanh Huynh, Thanh Huynh, and Nguyet Huynh; as well as his 12 grandchildren: Vu Huynh, Truc Huynh, Duy Huynh, Erica Nguyen, Melanie, wife of Anderson Jimenez, Matthew Bui, Cody Nguyen, Soren Huynh, Daphne Huynh, Caitlyn Changco, ChristianChancgo and Casey Changco. He was predeceased by two children, Khanh Huynh and Huong Huynh; and 3 siblings.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 3:00pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 12:30 - 2:30. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
