I am learning of this more than a year after the fact. It doesn't seem possible. Nissa, although we had no contact over the last several years, you had, and also will have, a special place in my heart.

I feel heartbroken to hear this news. I didn't know Nissa personally but love her mother. I am sure Nissa is as wonderful as Yvette. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers as they deal with their grief. May our Lord bring you His comfort at this time. He knows and cares for you!

Aunt Nissa always gave me the biggest smile whenever she saw me. It always felt good being around her. Though I haven't seen her for many years. I can remember all the wonderful memories we shared, especially as a child. Aunt Nissa you will be missed, and you will always be remembered as the loving Aunt you always were to my family. Rest in Peace.

I stand before you, to share a few thoughts of Nissa; because she loved me and I loved her. I really just wanted to tell E1 that I not only lost a Great friend, I lost my "Sister I never had". I prayed real hard and shed a few tears at the crack of dawn this morning in preparation. I'd like to share the same with you. Nissa didn't quite make it to Christmas, but she surely was ready for it. She died at home; not in a hospital bed, or in an extended care facility. I thank God for that. I know it had to be extremely hard for Olivia, Taylor, Alex, and Dave to go through. Keep them all in your prayers. We have a lot to be proud of Nissa. Nissa lived a prosperous life. And I thank God for that. Most of all, I thank God for having been truly blessed to have been Nissa's neighbor for a year. Nissa had good Morals and Values. And lots and lots of love to go around 10 fold. And I thank God for that. Nothing last forever here on earth, but we as Christians know that we are promised everlasting life in heaven. So, I know that Nissa is in heaven with the Lord. It's a celebration of Nissa's life, remembering the good times & precious moments we all shared with Nissa. God is good, God is Great! Let us Thank him. My Love to All- Susan Enfield
God saw you getting tired and a cure waas not to be. So he put his arms around you & whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched & seen you passed away. Although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard mothering hands at rest... God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. Nissa Pennypacker/Berkebile- U will b truly missed...
