He was the husband of
Josephine K. (Kleckner) Gehrig to whom he was married 64 years on June 5, 2012.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA, on Feb. 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Floyd W. and Ella Nora (Gerhard) Gehrig.
He was a 1945 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attended the Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute.
He owned and operated the Gehrig Roofing Co. in Reading for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter,
Judith L. Gehrig, with whom he resided; sister Violet, widow of Robert Schaeffer of Laureldale; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown.

Paul was my brother in law. As a little girl, he and Jo used to take me with them to Ocean City, NJ. My late husband and I always enjoyed visiting with Jo, Paul, and Judy. He will be greatly missed.
