Rebecca Yeaples-Fitzpatrick

Rebecca S. Yeaples-Fitzpatrick, 69, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Dennis J. Fitzpatrick, he passed on February 20, 2014. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Kirby D. and Helen R. (Sheetz) Werley. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1970, and received a degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University in 1974. She worked as a dispatcher at Bachman Foods for a number of years and later worked at Santander Bank, before retiring in 2019. Becky loved her dog, Millie. She loved to cook, camp, and especially loved campfires. She enjoyed traveling on cruises. She was a very selfless person who always gave everything that she could to others. Becky is survived by a son: Shawn P. Yeaples, Temple; a step- daughter: Bridget Y. (Fitzpatrick), wife of Rev. Ryan S. Welker, (Elizabethtown); four step-grandchildren: Stevi, Bobbi, John, and Josh; and five step-great grandchildren: Isabella, Adelina, Julianna, Ryden, and Xaiden; her sisters: Linda A. (Werley) Bonte-Loose, wife of John G. Loose, Mohnton, Marleen D. (Werley) Schwambach, wife of Tim, Temple, Pamela L. (Werley) Kramer, wife of George, Lake Wynonah, and Lori J. (Werley) Walsh, wife of Joseph, Leesport. She is also survived by her uncle: Henry Sheetz, husband of Kay, Tucson, AZ, a special cousin: Joseph Bower, Lewes, DE; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her PA Dutch Campground family. She was predeceased by an infant sister: Terri Lyn Werley. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Hamburg.
