Robert C. Alena

Robert C. Alena, 67, of Bernville, passed away on January 12, 2024 in Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Catharine A. (Wagner) Alena with whom he shared 10 years of marriage. Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Jane L. (Koch) Alena, who passed away in 2012, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Margarita (Salvatore) Alena. Robert was a graduate of Exeter High School Class of 1974. He worked at Berks Packing as a delivery driver for many years until his retirement. Robert enjoyed Green Bay Packers football, boating, fishing, golfing, mowing his grass, and Miller High Life. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children; Lauren Wagner (William), Janelle A. Lambert (A.J) and Evan J. (Erika). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Sophia, Jackson, Cole, Miles and Price. Robert is also survived by his step-children; Andrew Hahn (Rebecca), Matthew Hahn (Lindsey) and Jeffrey Hahn (Heather), along with his step-grandchildren; Emma, Mason, Andrew, Easton, Hayden, and Samuel. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday January 17 of 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606. A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 18, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at Lutz Funeral Home Inc. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Reading, Pennsylvania.
