Robert Barth Obituary
Robert L. Barth, 90, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, in
Kutztown Manor.
Born in Reading, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry W. Sr. and Myrtle R. (Koch) Barth.
Robert graduated from Reading High School and attended Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute. He worked at Met-Ed for 45 years in the engineering department and proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
Robert enjoyed golfing and was a true Philadelphia
Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Robert is survived by niece, Jennifer I. (Ribble), wife of Steven L. Barth, Reading; and nephew, William F. Ribble Jr., husband of Joanne M., Naples, Fla. In addition, Robert is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by siblings: Donald K., Betty L.
Frederick, Ruth J. Ribble and Harry W. Jr.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on
Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Reading. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. For online condolences, please visit www.LutzFuneralHome.com.
