He was born in Bronx, NY on December 19, 1930, a son of the late James and Virginia (Wiley) Harris.
He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his children: daughters: Viki L Harris-Dooley of Philadelphia; Toni Harris of Fayetteville, NC.; Robin L Harris, and Joi Harris both of Philadelphia; son, Robert JW Harris of Philadelphia; son, Robert Johnson of GA.; daughter, Candance Johnson of GA., and daughter, Robin Mason of Reading. There are 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Jamie Harris of Reading. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Mary Prentice. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive him.
Graveside services will be August 8, 2014 11am in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. 17003.
