Gail,
My prayer is that God will wrap you and "ALL" of the Commander's family in His loving arms. May you feel God's love and comfort at this time. I would send a prayer for Bob but he doesn't need my prayers. He's home and he's safe now. Along with these prayers, I send love and many, many hugs. Keep in mind that this is one of those times when you will see....and it's okay to see.....only ONE set of footprints in the sand!

As a member of the Hospice team at Silverleaf, it has been my privilege to know and visit with Mr. Lebengood. My husband, Bob Willis, was at Silverleaf for twenty months, and I am aware of the impact this illness has on family as well as the resident. For me and my husband it was "Peace at last" when he passed on, and I hope this will be there for you as well, peace for him and peace for each of you.
