Karen “Linda” McCarthy, age 69 of Wakefield, formerly of Westwood, passed away on Thursday February 26 at the Rubin Home in Saugus after a long illness.
She was born in Belmont on September 28, 1956. She graduated from Westwood High School, Class of 1974, and went on to the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1979.
Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, David Duffy, son, Zachary Duffy and his wife Gabby, her grandson Brooks, he daughter Jessica Duffy and her partner Tom Luther, and her brother Bill McCarthy and his wife Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Northeast Animal Shelter.
Funeral Services will be private and are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
