Robert Pearson Obituary
Robert Collier Pearson, 27, of Brecknock Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Delaware County, Pa.
Born in Reading, he was the son
of Douglas R. and Michele M. (Matz)
Pearson, of Brecknock Township.
Collier was a 2007 Honors graduate of the Governor
Mifflin High School, where he played football and
volleyball. After graduation, he attended West Chester University, again participating in football and volleyball, graduating in 2011. He was employed as a Staff Accountant.
Collier madethe most of every moment. He didn't leave any "leftovers." He was a fearless adventurist who loved hanging out with his friends, playing music and watching Philadelphia sports teams.
He was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Mohnton.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are siblings, MacLean Reed Pearson, of Bethlehem, and Riley Blaine Pearson, of Brecknock Twp.
He is also survived by his maternal grandmother,
Elizabeth A. Matz, of Mohnton, wife of the late Richard D. Matz; paternal grandmother, Nancy A. Pearson,
of Virginville, wife of the late Robert B. Pearson; aunts and uncles: Debra A. Reppert, of Wernersville; Rick D., husband of Phyllis Matz, of Mohnton; Marsha, wife of Erin
Pingitore, of Douglasville; Eric, husband of Tammy
Pearson, of Exeter, were also his godparents; and many
loving cousins.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. from Calvary United Methodist Church, 1 West Wyomissing Avenue, Mohnton, PA 19540, with Pastor Scott Widmer, officiating. Friends may greet the family and offer
condolences on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Good Shepherd Mission Foundation Puttur, Inc., c/o Jennifer Raszkiewicz, 1122 Lehigh Avenue, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc.,

Dear Pearson Family,
Collier was such a wonderful soul and had a heart of gold! His smile, energy and laughter could light up a room. He was a true friend to all and was willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone. I pray that God comforts you during this extremely difficult time and you know that God has bigger plans for Collier in Heaven. Collier is now with Joe and one day we will all be there with them again! Our graduating class has been through a lot within a two year span but please know that neither of these gentlemen will ever be forgotten. They have left a mark on each of our hearts for the better!
