He was the husband of Kathryn E. (Vollertsen) Remp, who died on July 10, 2006. Born in Cumru Twp., he was the son of the late Elmer and Katie Remp.
Bob worked as a press operator retiring from Dana's
Parish Corporation in Reading after 26 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Surviving are children: Ronald R., widower of Theresa S. (Brackett) Remp, of Exeter, Sharon L. Remp
of Womelsdorf and Lori L. Remp of Shillington.
He was also survived by his grandchildren: Gary B. Remp of Douglassville; Ryan M. Remp of West Reading; Renee B. Remp of Sinking Spring; Jessica L. Todt of West Lawn; and Ashley N. Todt of Robesonia; and a brother, Carl Remp of Mohnton.
He was predeceased by siblings: Marvin Remp, Anna Heister, Marie Young and Lillian Fitterling.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium ,Inc.,
21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Selina Hamilton, officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Wyomissing United Church of Christ, Two Vermont Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
