Ruby Dubble Obituary
Ruby R. Dubble, age 83, of Hockessin, DE, formerly of Sinking Spring, PA, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2014 in her home with family by her side.
Born in Strausstown, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Grace (Keener) Wertz.
Ruby was a graduate of Hamburg High School. She was employed by Western Electric, where she built some of the first single transistors. Upon an early retirement, she devoted her life to family and many special talents.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Dubble; son, David E. Dubble; brother, William Wertz; and sisters, Kathryn Trump and Mary Glore. She is survived by her daughter, Debra J., wife of Kevin M. Croker of Hockessin, DE; two sisters, Joane Niadna and Jeane Fasnacht of Strausstown, PA; four grandchildren: Jason A. Dubble and his wife, Jennifer (Hoffman); Patience L., wife of Andrew Forsythe; Sean P. Croker and his wife, Danielle (Emerson) and Everett M. Croker; and three great-grandchildren: Owen D. Dubble, Dawson L. Dubble and Cole A. Forsythe.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruby's memory to a charity of your choice.
