Scott Schneck Obituary

Scott Eugene Schneck, 63, died January 10, 2022, in his Temple residence. He was the loving husband of Mary Katherine (Nugent) Schneck. Born, May 19, 1958, in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late C. Russell and Lucille Mae (Emerich) Schneck. Scott was a 1976 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, and in 1980 graduated from Shippensburg State College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was employed with Tasty Baking Company, Philadelphia for 34 years, last working as a District Sales Manager. Scott was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park. His passions were spending time with family, hunting and the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed camping, and was involved in coaching his sons’ baseball through MTAA, and basketball through CYO when they were younger. He was the loving father of: Nathan S., husband of Heather A. (York) Schneck of St. Petersburg, FL; Meghan J., wife of Michael Juhasz of Muhlenberg Township; and Adam C. Schneck of Temple. There are also two granddaughters, Madelyn R. Juhasz and Cameron R. Schneck. Other survivors include his two brothers: Gregory F. Schneck of Landenberg, PA and Rusty, husband of Joy M. Schneck of Exton, PA. A Memorial Mass will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading. A visitation will be held Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with a sharing time beginning at 12:15 p.m., at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: HGA CYO Boosters, 3125 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. For online condolences, visit www.Stitzels.com.

Remembering our days at STHS together , and being in band with Russ as our teacher. Thoughts and prayers for all, Scott was a good friend , very sad to learn of his passing . May God receive him with open arms and keep him until u can all be together again.

I didn´t get a chance to work with Scott much but always looked forward to seeing him at company meetings. He was a very nice person and always came across as someone you could depend on if you needed him. I did get a copy of your tribute to him via Tasty email chain. It was beautiful.
