Starr Young Obituary
Starr L. Young, 53 of Hamburg, died July 6th in the Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of Harold A. Young for 32 years. Born in Allentown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel (Dries) Landis.
Starr had been employed by Dori Martin Catering of Fleetwood for over 13 years.
She enjoyed camping, family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Derek W. Young, Hamburg, Pa., Andrew R. Young, Fleetwood, Pa.; one daughter, Tanya, wife of Dale Santos, Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters: June Miller, Kutztown, Pa.; Jean, wife of
Ernest Riegel, Breinigsville, Pa.; Nancy, wife of Jim Schaeffer, Emmaus, Pa.; one brother, Ralph, husband of Jane Landis, Kutztown, Pa.; 6 grandchildren: Serina, Chase, Payetin, Savannah, Jayden and Aubrie.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Cramp-Hummel Funeral Home Inc., 934 Centre Ave., Reading. Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials funds may be directed to the family.
CRAMP-HUMMEL Funeral Home, Rt. 61 Centre Park, Reading, has charge of arrangements.

starr since her teen years & throughout the years she was a delightful person with a true heart and soul of a personality. An angel to everyone she met. Always a smile and a kind word for everyone and a sense of humor to add. Her life filled with love and devotion to everyone she met.

Dear Young Family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Starr at Lowe's and she was such a nice lady and so funny! We always had a good time! I know she will be missed, but remember all the wonderful memories you will always have in your heart!

So sorry to hear Starr's passing. I grew up with her. We were best friends in middle and high school. I remember going camping with her and her family weekends, during the summer. She was a beautiful soul. My prayers go out to her family.

Chup and family so sorry to hear about the loss of Starr. She was a great woman. I have so many memories of her when I first started helping to run the food truck and then with catering. I always remember she had to have her Icy Tea no matter where she would go. My thoughts and prayers to all of the family. She will be missed very much.
