Dear Carolyn,
I was just informed by old classmates Jack McGaughy and Jack Gruber of Ted's passing. Although it had been years since I saw Ted, I believe at one of our Wyomissing Class Reunions, I remember him well from our youth. I recall attending pool parties and being an overnight guest at his home on several occasions when we were kids and, even after Ted left Wyomissing High School for Culver, I always thought of him as our classmate and friend. I regret that I did not get to see Ted more often through the years. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your children.
Sincerely,
Rich Chafey, Wyomissing Class of 1952 (Meadville, Pa)

To the Auman family; and especially to my dear lifelong friend Cynnie,
The thought of Wyomissing without Ted Auman is hard to fathom. I'm thankful for the legacies he left behind, namely his family, and for the strong role model he was for everyone. Our deepest sympathy is sent to you all.
