Mr. Franey was a sharp businessman, excellent athlete, and an even better dad. It is easy to see, as his children are so wonderful. I am grateful for so many memories of discussions of sports, human nature and the world on many a ride to sports practices, the shore or at the perhaps hundreds of meals I had with the Franeys throughout my years growing up. He loved a good joke and his unique laugh was infectious. I am truly a better man for having known him.
