Todd Heffner Obituary
Todd Lee Heffner, 35, Boyertown Pike, Amity Township, Berks County, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of Linda (Reinhart) Heffner, Boyertown; and Lee H. and Judy (Frankenfield) Heffner, Bechtelsville.
Todd was a graduate of Boyertown High School, class of 1993, and a graduate of Albright College, with a degree in business management.
He worked for 84 Lumber, Douglassville, for five years. He last worked as an outside sales representative for Home Brands Inc., last working Friday, Dec. 17, 2010.
He was a member of Falkner Swamp Reformed Church, Gilbertsville and the Boyertown Jaycees and he was the "Mayor of Earlville."
Surviving with his parents are a fiancee, Sheryl (Ecker) Moyer; and daughter, Nichole Moyer, with whom he resided; a brother, Keith, husband of Elizabeth (Jack) Heffner, Perkiomenville; a sister, Jana M. Heffner, Oley; a niece, Lauren Heffner, Perkiomenville; paternal grandparents, Earl and Arlene (Schoenly) Heffner, Barto; and a maternal grandmother, Gertrude (Coldren) Reinhart, Gilbertsville.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Hereford. The Rev. Ruthann Seibert will officiate. A viewing will be Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, between 6 and 8 p.m., at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., 111 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, and Monday, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., at the church. Burial will be in Huff's Church Cemetery, Hereford Township, Berks County.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Berks County Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604, or to the Second Chance Rescue, 375 Yoder Road, Elverson, PA 19520. Online condolences may be made at www.lwottfuneralhome.com.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Todd, a friend to everyone, always greeted me with a smile each time he walked through the door. Always friendly, Todd never a bad word to say about anyone. He was a fun-loving guy who was blessed to hav ea wonderful woman, Sheryl, by his side. God, please comfort and be near to Sheryl and Nicole, and with the Heffner family at this time of grief. My heart breaks for the Heffner family and my girls Sheryl and Nicole...I am so blessed to have had Todd in my life,he showed me how to not sweat the small stuff and to find humor in most things,his beautiful heart will live on in those that he touched forever, so as he would want.
