Born January 6, 1935 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph O'Connor Sr. and the late Ruth Vandergrift O'Connor.
Mr. O'Connor was employed at Chubb Insurance as a life insurance agent in the Easton area. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School where he was a basketball standout and he was also a graduate of Rider College. He enjoyed spending time at his summer residence at Sandy Pond, Lake Ontario. Mr. O'Connor served in the US Navy.
He is survived by his former spouse, Diane Eichlin O'Connor of Macungie, Pa., and children: Vicki Ebner and husband, Jeff, of Sinking Spring; Kelly Waldron of Lebanon; Vincent M. "Corky" O'Connor and wife, Diane, of Easton; and Chris O'Connor and wife, Lori, of Bethlehem. Grandchildren are Ryan, Jesse and Kelly Ebner; Kyla Waldron; and Nicole and Meghan O'Connor.
Mr. O'Connor was predeceased by a brother, Joseph O'Connor II.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, N.J. at 10:00 AM. There will be calling hours on Sunday at the funeral home from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Finegan Funeral Home.

Vince and I attended Freeman School, PHS, U.S. Navy in Philipines, roommates at Rider University for 2 years, enjoyed our places on Sandy Pond and breakfast at Hoggers. Brother Joe and Vince, both long time true friends...many stories. Frank Dragotta and Murnie.

i worked with vince as his manager in allentown in 1986-1987. also lived in rosehill hgts and delivered papers to his home on stelko ave. one great guy . never heard him speak an ill word to anyone. he surely will be missed by all who knew him.
