She was the wife of Dean P. Frantz.
Born in Keeling, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Mattie R. (Simmons) Shelton.
Anne was a 1942 graduate of Dan River High School, Ringgold, Danville, VA.
She was a manager at Jim Thomas' West Reading Diner for 18 years, retiring in 1992.
Anne was vice president and secretary of Lutheran Women's League of Lutheran Hospice from 1961-1962.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Janet E. Seeley, Seattle WA; her brother, Harry R. Shelton, Danville, VA; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carole E. Jones.
Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
