Wayne Henne Jr.

Wayne M. Henne, Jr., age 78, formerly of Blandon, passed away Sunday February 12, 2023. He was husband of the late Jessolene L. (Gauby) Henne who passed on March 25, 2009. Born in West Reading the son of the late Wayne M. Henne, Sr. and Sarah L. (Lorah) Henne. Wayne entered the U. S. Marine Corps at age 17 serving from 1961 to 1965, during the Vietnam War. After his service in the Marines he was employed by Lehigh Cements, Evansville, retiring after 42 years. He loved to go fishing and hunting. Wayne is survived by his son Wayne M. Henne, III, daughter Marni L. (Henne) wife of William H. Fox, Jr., grandson Logan Wayne Fox and sister Diane (Henne) Shuman. Also a niece and three nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his brother Dennis L. Henne. A viewing will be Thursday February 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery.
