Betty I. Henne

Betty I. Henne, 96, of Bernville, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at Berks Heim. She was the loving wife of the late Richard A. Henne. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Erma Long of Bernville. 

Betty was a homemaker for much of her life. She was also known as "The Cheese Lady" at Troutman's IGA in Bernville for many years. Betty enjoyed counted cross stitch and other embroidery. 

Betty was active in the Bernville Woman's Club, St. Thomas Church, and Young at Hearts. Betty enjoyed holiday dinners with her family. She looked forward to dining with friends and family followed by card games at the Henne house. 

Betty is survived by her children, Rowena Henderson, wife of Stephen Henderson, of Bernville and Kerry Henne, husband of Joan (Armstrong), of Davenport, Florida. She was preceded in death by one son, Dale Henne, husband of Joan Henne, of Bernville. She has six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lisa, Matthew, Chad, Brady, and Danielle; 12 great-grandchildren; One great-great-grandchild. Also surviving is a brother, Carl Long of Millville, DE. 

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family with Pastor Stephen Hollinger officiating and interment will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bernville. 

Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
