William Dampman Obituary

William Dampman, 70, of Mt Penn, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie (Mintzer) Dampman, of Mt. Penn, with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William E. and Miriam (Schrantz) Dampman. Bill graduated from Owen J Roberts High School. He proudly served his country in The United States Navy from 1978-1996 doing data processing. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children; Brett, of Mt. Penn, and Laura, partner of Eric Bauer, West Virginia. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Rebecca, Salena, Tyana, Jasmine, and Logan, as well as his siblings; Rayman, Larry, Merle, Millie Mintzer, and Nancy Lacy. A private graveside service will be held at Spies Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
