Yvonne Wenzel Obituary
Yvonne A. Wenzel, 75, of Whitehall died Monday, January 28, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Kermit W. Wenzel. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on April 19, 2012.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Paul and Emma (Kardos) Beck. A talented seamstress, Yvonne was a sewing machine operator at various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley for over 50 years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay, and a former member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, both in Whitehall. Yvonne treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; son, Stephen M., husband of Jennifer R. Wenzel of Blandon; daughters, Terri R. wife of Robert W. Dougherty of Nazareth, Simone Y. wife of Kevin P. Yanders of Germansville; brother, George Beck; nine grandchildren; and close family friend, Dr. Ian Gertner. She was predeceased by her daughter, Holly S. Siegfried, who died January 12, 2011.
Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St., Co-play, 18037. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Memorial contributions may be made in Yvonne's memory to the church.

SO sorry to hear about Yvonne's passing. I worked with her at the factory in the 70's and we just had so much fun together, I remember all the halloween partys we went to and all the great times we had together. She was a wonderful woman!
