BETTY SHEPPARD Obituary
BETTY JANE SHEPPARD, 92, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018, in River's Bend Health Care Center, South Point, Ohio. She was born January 30, 1926, in Scottown, Ohio, daughter of the late Ogle and Laura Lafon Dennison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Sheppard; one brother, Irvin Dennison; son-in-law, Rick Auer; and great-great-granddaughter, Rebecca Thompson. She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Harry) Morris of Proctorville, Ohio, Donna Auer of Amanda, Ohio, and Janie (Jeff) Smith of Ashland, Ky.; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Dennison of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Mickey Dennison of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Bob Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. I enjoyed the honor of caring for Betty while a CNA for Rivers bend a few years back. I adored her humor and spirit! My heartfelt sympathies for the family, she was a wonderful woman and I will miss her dearly!
