David Arron
Whittle
1957-2023
He attended Ukiah High School and worked part-time after school at Louisiana Pacific. On August 23, 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Suzie Lopez and they moved to Lake County, Ca. where they welcomed their first son Arron, a year later. Their second son, Brandon, followed in 1978, and in 1982 they welcomed a daughter, Sonia.
Shortly after moving to Lake County, he went to work for the Geysers, where he worked for the next 20 years.
David loved working on old cars, trucks, hot rods, and any type of vehicle. He was very mechanically inclined. His favorite was his 1955 Ford truck. He enjoyed camping, fishing, RC cars and planes.
David was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Joan Whittle.
He is survived by his sons, Arron Whittle and Brandon (Brittany)Whittle, daughter Sonia Whittle, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters Karen Daugherty and Kelly (Jeff) Cowan, his beloved dog Chopper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service Friday, August 4, 2023 at Eversole Mortuary, 141 Low Gap Rd. Ukiah at 2:00 PM, followed by a remembrance gathering at 4:00 PM at McCartys Bar & Grill, 6951 East Rd. in Redwood Valley.
