Norma Stafford Obituary
Her parents; oldest sister, Annie Lou Underwood; and her brothers, Almond "Peewee" Stafford and Ed Stafford; and sisters, Rosie Stafford, Magdalene Stafford Stone and Mary Stafford Wiltshire, all preceded her in death.
Her brother, James Stafford and sister, Lorena "Nicky" Stafford Melton, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, survive her.
Myrna Shaffer, Norma's devoted partner, made a home with Norma at Clearlake's Meadowood Nursing Center. There they both basked in the warmth, love and respect of the caring staff and residents.
Meadowood is hosting an open memorial service honoring Norma at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Norma leaves behind a loving family, friends and a large and an appreciative readership that read her poems and stories with their hearts. As Norma often said after one of her delicious and witty moments: Tee Hee!
