Patrick Campbell, age 27, passed from this life on January 14, 2012, as the result of a tragic automobile accident along side his beloved girlfriend, Jena Marks and her mother Kari Marks.
By nature a positive and happy person, Patrick liked to encourage and motivate others to get things done. If you mentioned change, he would devise plans to make it happen. His infectious, fun-loving, uplifting attitude in-spired others to be better.
Patrick enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid snowboarder and wakeboarder, took part in family camping trips, and enjoyed off-road driving and riding his quad plus riding his mountain bike on all-terrain trails. Patrick and his siblings, Andrew and Katie, had a very close relationship often spending time together.
The best way to describe Patrick's work ethic was "hardworking and thorough." What he started, he finished. He was production manager for Olivier Napa Valley, which enhanced his love of cooking. He began training for CDF and worked so hard that he was unable to walk for days. Of particular importance to Patrick was his work as a volunteer firefighter in both Middletown and St. Helena.
Patrick settled on becoming an electrician and was in the apprentice program with the Electrician's Union IBEW Local 551 and had finally landed his dream job.
A 2003 graduate of Middletown High School, Patrick went out of his way to visit his classmates after graduation. He was a well-loved young man who touched many people's lives.
Patrick is survived by his father, Jeffrey Campbell; his mother, Linda Campbell; his brother, Andrew Campbell; his sister, Katie Campbell; plus many loving aunts and uncles, grandparents, cousins, step-family and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at Middletown High School, Sunday, January 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been set up in Patrick Earl Campbell's name at Wells Fargo Bank in Sebastopol, phone 707-824-2620. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank.
