Anni Reuter Obituary
Anni was born in Germany, May 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Karl A. and Hermine Doepke Schmidt. Predeceased by her sister, Ilse Abraham. Mrs. Reuter had been a resident of Peekskill, N.Y. for many years until moving to Connecticut in 1985. She had been a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Wallingford.
She is survived by two sons, Herbert Schmidt, of Germany and Karl Heinz Reuter, of New York; three daughters, Edith (Edward) Farley, of Branford, Irma LiVigni, of Meriden, Margarete Jenkins, of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews in Germany and the U.S.
Funeral services will be private, held in the chapel of the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St. Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Peekskill, N.Y.
