Arneta Leach Obituary

Arneta J. (Lovley) Leach, 87, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, with her daughter by her side at the Summit of Plantsville. She had been the loving wife of the late Merrill "Mitch" C. Leach for 68 years. Born on November 15, 1933 in Knox, Maine, to the late Beumont and Beryl (Sanborn) Lovley, she had been a longtime Southington resident. Arneta was an active member of the Faith Living Church. She had a strong faith in God and centered her life around her family. She is survived by two children, daughter, Darlene Judd and her husband Gary of Southington and son, Merrill Leach, Jr. and his wife Vicki of FL, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Darrel Lovley of Stafford Springs and William Cummings of CT and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Valarie Leach and her brother Jim Lovley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arneta's memory may be made to the Faith Living Church, 20 Grove St., Plantsville, CT 06479. A graveside service for Merrill and Arneta was celebrated at Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington. Plantsville Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
