Carole Eager Obituary

Carole Eager
January 1, 1943 - April 11, 2025
Carole C. Eager, 82, of Meriden, wife of Paul (Vic) Eager for 58 years, passed away peacefully April 11, 2025, at her home, with her family by her side.
Carole was born in Meriden on January 1, 1943, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Perkins) Cooper.
Carole graduated from the University of Hartford and worked as a paralegal for various local law firms. She then returned to college and graduated from Central and Southern Connecticut State Universities and began her second career as a library media specialist with the Wallingford Public Elementary Schools. Her love for travel took her to 49 states, many countries around the world and to her home away from home in Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, volunteering at church and was actively involved in the Wallingford Junior Women's Club where she served as President for two years. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and supporting them in all of their activities.
In addition to her husband, Vic, she is survived by her daughter, Kristen Nedinsky and her husband, Joe, of Meriden; and her grandchildren, Erika, Alex and Ethan Nedinsky.
Carole's family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4 pm until 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, directly at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown. Interment will be in State Veterans' Cemetery, in Middletown.

Carole became a friend years ago when I was fortunate enough to manage the Blue Water Resort where her home away from home was here in Myrtle Beach. She was such a wonderful person and I enjoyed every opportunity I had to be around her. I know how much she enjoyed her family and how much she loved those grandchildren. They will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
