BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Charles (Chuck) W. McGlew, 70, high-school sweetheart and beloved husband of  Dale Mascagni McGlew, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 after a courageous battle against ALS.

Chuck served on many committees including the Meriden Democratic Town Committee, Hunter Golf Course Commission, Board of Directors for the State of Connecticut Credit Union, and the Anthem Ranch Neighborhood Committee in Broomfield, Colo. He was an organ donor. Chuck loved reading, golfing, watching his cherished N.Y. Yankees and spending time with his family.

Dale and family, so very sorry for your loss still can't believe it but so happy we were able to spend time with you and Chuck 3 1/2 years ago in Colorado. He was such a good travel director and took us to many interesting spots in Colorago. On our last day in your home he went to all the trouble of making us an "ITALIAN BREAKFASTS" like we would be served on our forthcoming trip there. So happy to spend the time with you both while he was in pretty good shape. So happy you are there with Amy and her family. Take care and treasure the memories,

Dale and family, so happy we got to spend time with you and Chuck in Colorado nearly 4 years ago now. He was so proud of giving us our tour and bringing us to all the places he knew we would be interested in. Our last day he prepared our "ITALY" style breakfast to give us a taste (no pun intended) of what we were going to experience in Italy. You both were gracious hosts and it was trip to remember. I'm sure he's up there hitting a few gulf balls around..
