Daniel Strout Obituary
Daniel was born on Nov. 8, 1961, in Red Bank, N.J., son of Stephanie (Stepanski) Strout and the late Albert Strout. Daniel was a graduate of Sheehan High School, class of 1979. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was later honorably discharged. Dan worked for ADT for over 15 years as an Alarm Installation Specialist. He was also an electrician by trade. He was a communicant of St. Francis Catholic Church in New Haven, and a Mason of Compass Lodge No. 9, where he served as a past Master. He also belonged to the Grand Commandery Knights of Templar of Connecticut. On April 7, 1990 he married Lisa M. Alfano and they spent over 17 years in a loving marriage together. He was a father of three, which was by far his greatest legacy.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Lisa of Wallingford and adoring children, Daniel Jr., Natalie Rose, and Emily Elizabeth; his mother, Stephanie Strout of Hamden; mother-in-law, Corinne Alfano of Northford; he also leaves brothers, Douglas Strout and wife, Nancie of Wallingford and Thomas Strout and wife, Carol of Columbia; sister, Tami Stanford and husband, Greg of Orange; brothers-in-law, Joseph Alfano and wife, Christine of Clinton, and Anthony Alfano and wife, Alicia of Durham; along with sister-in-law, Lori Carpenter and husband, Martin of Northford; Dan also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford on Friday, Sept. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Church, 397 Ferry St., New Haven on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Center Street Cemetery, in Wallingford. In lieu of floral tributes memorial contributions may be made to: The Strout Family, c/o B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford, CT 06492. To the Strout family,
I only knew Dan through ADT when he came here to the airport to install equipment. He always showed me pictures of the children on his computer - you could tell how proud he was. My favorite picture was when kids got into the flour! May your happy memories make this difficult time easier. He will be missed.

Dan and I went to prom together while we were students at Sheehan. When he was in the navy, I mailed him cookies. He was a great guy. One time, he happened to be in Illinois, and visited me at Bradley University. I have fond memories of Dan. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you can find peace in knowing that he was a loving father and great husband and friend.

To the Strout family, I am so saddened by your loss, Danny was such a wonderful person,I will always remember him as my first "crush", and the years when I was a child and he played Santa Clause at Christmas time. I know that there are no words that can comfort you right now, and I understand your pain, just know that a soul like Dannys, although we cant touch him any more, the light and love that it gives reaches beyond death, and still will surround your family, untill the days when you all meet again. although my dad just passed as well, it gives me comfort to know that he is probobly with Danny now, just as he spent time with him when Danny was young.The Memories that i have of Danny will always be cherished and remembered, and my thoughts and prayers are with you, i love you all...
