Dolores Bennett Obituary
Dolores was born in New Haven, the daughter of the late Josephine (Hochelein) Dorman and Henry Quarz.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Bennett and was a devoted, loving mother to her three children, Steven Bennett and his wife, Mary, of Durham, Cynthia Bennett and her husband, Anthony Lupacchino, of Rocky Hill, and Michael Bennett and his wife, Jennifer, of Wallingford. She is also survived by her six loving grandchildren, JoDee Lupacchino, Sarah, Jessica, Laura, Jonathan and Rebekah Bennett. Dolores also leaves her sister, Marion Doolittle and husband, Roy, of Orlando, Fla.; and her brother, Robert Quarz and wife, Rose, of North Haven; and several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, William Quarz.
Calling hours will be at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford, on Saturday, June 5 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 10:45 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. To the whole Bennett family, we were blessed to have known and loved Dolores. She will always be remembered in our hearts. We have so many wonderful memories of her living, laughing and loving.
