Domenico Castaldo Obituary

Domenico Castaldo, 89, of Southington, husband of the late Mafalda (Cotugno) Castaldo, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Domenico was born on October 27, 1931 in Castel Campagnano, Italy, and was the son of the late Florindo and Ersilia (Perfetto) Castaldo. Domenico is survived by his sister, Caterina Giano and her husband Italo of Italy. He is also survived by his nephews, John Castaldo, Frank Castaldo and his wife Joanne of Southington, Domenico Castaldo and his wife Lina, Celestino Giano and his wife Antonella, Mario Giano and his wife Rosanna, and his niece Ersilia Castaldo and her husband Luigi all of who reside in Italy. He is also survived by several grand nieces and grand nephews as well. A graveside service for Domenico will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 11:45 AM, in St. Thomas Cemetery (new section), 209 Belleview Ave. Southington, CT 06489. There will be no calling hours. The family has entrusted the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Southington, CT 06489 with Domenico's services.
