Gregory King Obituary

MERIDEN - Gregory A. King, 57 passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at MidState Medical Center.

He was born July 21, 1958, in Meriden a son of the late Ralph and Eleanor (O'Connor) King and was a lifelong resident of Meriden. Greg enjoyed photography and earlier in life loved to travel. He was a free spirit that will be deeply missed.

Greg is survived by a brother, Wayne King, of Meriden; a sister, Cheryl King-Smith, of Meriden; niece and nephew, Heather and Ryan Smith; as well as several aunts, uncles; and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY CONDOLENCES TO GREG'S FAMILY. I WORK AT SSA IN MERIDEN AND HELPED GREG ON MANY OCCASIONS. GREG HAD TOLD ME HE HAD SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES YET I WAS STILL SURPRISED TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. I WISH I HAD KNOWN IN TIME TO PAY MY RESPECTS TO HIS FAMILY. I WILL MISS HIM STOPPING IN. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
