Jim was a kind of hero in his own right. A legend in his own time. Every life he touched, he changed. Every heart he changed knew love. A sweet non-judgemental, unconditional love. How precious is your memory, how lovely your life.I am honored to call you friend.

I am REAL sorry for your loss. I worked at Mary Hitchcock Memorial and DHMC as a tray carrier with Jim and his wife Ann-Noel in the hospital. He was wonderful person to be around and showed exceptional kindness to those he touched. He will be deeply missed!

I wish that I could have shown my appreciation for Jim at his services but just stumble upon the fact we lost him. Jim was one of my nurses while i was in the PICU in '95 and he was beyond wonderful. My heart breaks for his family and He will be deeply missed.

I would like to send my deepest sympathies to the family of Jim Misuraca. Jim touched a lot of lives in a very positive way. Jim was my sons nurse in the picu in 1999. Because Jim was his primary nurse, he really bonded with Jim. Jim would take time to do the little extra things that made the difference.
Justin has a picture of him on his wall to this day. Even though he hasn't seen Jim in many years, he still loved him so. For two days all he did was eat sleep and cry. He was going to call him and wish him happy birthday. I hated telling him that he wouldn't be able to.
We will miss him terribly.
I am so sorry for your loss, and will be praying for you all.

I wanted to send my condolences to Jim Misuraca's family. I believe that he was one of my mother's nurses when she was in the hospital at DHMC, until her death from cancer on May 10, 1992. I lost track of him after my Mom died, and I did not know that he lived in my hometown (Lyme), as I was living in West Lebanon at the time. I wish that I had had a chance to tell him how very much his kindness and help meant to me and my family. I know my mother appreciated his gentle care.
With sympathy.
