Jane Breton Obituary

MATTAPOISETT, Mass. - Jane F. (Franz) Breton, 79, of Mattapoisett, Mass., died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009. She was the wife of the late Real R. Breton.

Born in New Britain, she lived in Meriden before moving to Mattapoisett, many years ago. In her earlier years, Mrs. Breton worked at the Wareham Savings Bank. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Survivors include three children, Peter Breton and his wife, Gail, of Coral Springs, Fla., Mark Breton and his wife Susan, of Acushnet, Mass., and Mary Beth Amirault and her husband, David, of Lakeville, Mass.; and seven grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Blair, Erin, and Ashlee Breton, and Juliann and Madison Amirault.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett, Mass. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett, Mass.
